Foundation Chambers is a barristers’ chambers in Hong Kong, with a strength of practice in both Civil and Criminal law. There are currently 6 members in our set. Our members provide legal advisory and advocacy services as well as expert legal opinion in various levels of Hong Kong courts. Barristers within Foundation Chambers can be instructed individually or in a team in accordance with the needs of the case.
History
Foundation Chambers was formed in 2020. Our chambers bring together a team of highly skilled and dedicated barristers who possess a diverse range of expertise. With a shared vision of upholding justice and advocating for our clients, we strive to make a positive impact within the legal profession and the communities we serve.
Instructing Barrister
If you need legal representation in any case, you can be represented by a barrister in nearly any court. A barrister is an expert in advocacy and specialized in litigation. You can also instruct a barrister to give you oral or written advice on any legal matter, or to draft documents for you which are related to litigation. You must go to a solicitor first who would advise you to instruct the most appropriate barrister for your case. You can also ask your solicitor to instruct a particular barrister in your mind. Generally a barrister must accept your case unless it falls within certain exceptions.
